Dinner Invite Information
Depending on location, the estimated number of clinicians who attend averages around 15, though actual attendance may vary based on the venue you select and its capacity. These dinner lectures are valued by attendees as they provide an opportunity to learn about products and services that can help improve the quality, safety, and outcomes of oncology care.
Slotting fee and sponsor responsibilities
This slotting fee covers inclusion in the APPOS event. The sponsoring company will provide a dinner program to attendees on Friday evening and is responsible for the full planning and costs associated with the dinner, including:
- Venue selection and coordination
- Speaker selection, honoraria, and related expenses
- All content development and logistics
- Audiovisual equipment and technical needs for the presentation
What Horizon CME will provide:
- Electronic invitation sent to registered attendees (invitations will be provided to Horizon CME for distribution).
- Pre- and post-registration list of overall attendees who opted in, per ACCME standards.
Content & promotion
- The sponsoring company is responsible for topic selection and speaker expenses.
- This Friday evening slot is exclusive to one company; competing programs from other companies are not permitted the same night.
- These sessions are promotional and may address a specific drug or product.
Industry payments and conference costs
Industry fees are not applied toward any payments to HCPs for honoraria, meals, prizes, social events, etc. Horizon CME alone covers costs for conference CME speakers, meals, prizes, and social events related to the conference program.
Application & deadlines
- This application should be returned as early as possible. Applications are reviewed and approved in the order they are received.
- Electronic flyer invitations must be submitted to Horizon CME no later than four (4) weeks before the date of the conference.
Fee Inclusions
- Marketing of the dinner to registered APPOS clinicians.
- One flyer distributed at the registration desk (subject to production and delivery timelines).
- Your topic, speaker, and sponsorship acknowledged on conference materials and the APPOS website.
- An exhibit table included, plus two (2) complimentary registration badges.
